Section Tree
The section tree serves as the reporting mechanism in the system. From here, you can generate, save, and export relevant reports
Access: Side menu>Budget>My Tree
After entering the tree, the search menu will open automatically. The first field is “Segmentation,” where you select the resolution in which the results will appear, according to the following breakdown:
- Budget – a single row will always appear with an aggregation of all the parameters entered in the search
- Custom sorting range – grouping sections by sorting range headings that were predefined in the system (usually relevant for companies without synchronization)
- External sorting range – grouping sections by sorting range headings as they appear in the accounting system (relevant for companies with synchronization)
- Balance code – grouping sections by balance code headings
- Sections – all sections will be displayed for the parameters entered in the search
- Month – grouping sections by month
- Month (cumulative) – grouping sections by month with accumulation of the previous months
General navigation:
- Using the funnel icon in the corner of the screen, you can show/hide columns in the table
- Hovering the mouse over a column header will display a window with an explanation about the column
- You can save a search and find it in the saved searches tab
- You can export the tree by clicking the Excel icon in the corner of the screen
- On the right side of each record there is a +; clicking it will allow you to segment again at an additional resolution. Example – if you segmented the search by external sorting range, clicking the + and selecting “Sections” will display all the sections in that same sorting code
- On the left side of each record there is a book icon; clicking it will display the ledger records for the selected segmentation in the company’s books (for companies with synchronization only)
Permissions:
The records in the tree are derived from the user’s permissions. System administrators will have access to all sections, while users with partial access will see only the sections they are authorized to access
